Pan Emul P

Pan Emul P is an Unique Drilling Fluids primary emulsifier, which is composed of glycerides and fatty acids.

Basically its chemistry involves the reduction of the surface tension in aqueous or organic liquids to extremely low levels imparting water in oil emulsion stability. With its hydrophilic, water loving head and hydrophobic, oil loving tail It supplements the performance of the secondary emulsifier (Pan Emul S) by encircling each solids particle with an oil layer.

Emulsion break down is prevented due to solids water wetting and therefore the emulsion stability remains intact. This product also imparts fluid loss.
